Dive Me Around is a community platform for divers to share posts, find buddies, join dive events, message each other, and connect with dive organizations. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at arsa.etf@gmail.com.

Account information: When you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive your name, email address, and profile image from that provider. Profile information: You may add a bio, dive level, dive count, and other details you choose to share. Content you create: Posts, comments, messages, event participation, organization memberships, and reviews you submit are stored on our platform. Usage data: Our hosting and infrastructure providers may process technical data such as IP address, browser type, and request logs for security and reliability.

We use your information to: • Provide and operate the service (authentication, feed, messaging, events, notifications) • Display your profile and content to other members of the community • Send in-app notifications about activity relevant to you • Maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve the platform We do not sell your personal information.

We use trusted third-party services to run Dive Me Around, including: • Authentication providers (Google, GitHub) • Cloud hosting (e.g. Vercel) • Database hosting (e.g. Neon PostgreSQL) • Real-time messaging infrastructure (e.g. Pusher) These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies and only as needed to deliver the service.

We keep your account and content for as long as your account is active. If you delete content or your account, we remove or anonymize it within a reasonable period, except where we must retain information for legal, security, or backup purposes.

You can update your profile information at any time from your profile page. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To make a request, email privacy@divemearound.com. You can also revoke access via your Google or GitHub account settings.

We use industry-standard measures such as HTTPS and access controls to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Dive Me Around is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
